The Snap Dragon Ladies of the Red Hat Society visited the DaySpring Outlet Store yesterday. We enjoyed visiting with these lovely ladies before they headed out to lunch. A family came home from church, where the sermon was on Adam and Eve. The mother noticed her son sitting on the bed feeling his ribs. She asked what he was doing. He said "I counted these things three times now, Mom! I think I'm having a wife!"

We're having a great morning in the store today. Summer is always a fun time with the new faces of travelers coming through and the return faces of previous visitors. Since the Dayspring Outlet store has extended it's hours we have been able to accommodate more customers. We are open M-F 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

Every Saturday we run a different special that is located on a silver cart that is placed either on the sidewalk in front of the store, or inside the store near the chairs at the front. Please don't forget to check these specials out!

Wow! It is hard to believe that another work week is coming to an end. At the DaySpring Outlet we are hard at work. We are always restocking and putting out more great cards and gifts.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It is busy at the Outlet Store with all of the wonderful Christmas Specials. We are having a drawing for 2 lovely Christmas Baskets. Come in and register these lovely gift items.

Hope everyone is keeping cool out there in the heat. Tomorrow we are running our Saturday Special and this week everything on the cart will be 4 for $1. Included on the cart are package notes, stickers, matted sentiments, candles, and small gift bags. What a deal! The cart will be sitting out in front of the store, so come take advantage of the sales.

We so enjoy seeing your bright and smiling faces in the store! It's always fun to hear where you travel from and how you made it to the Outlet store. We have visitors from all over the country and even from other countries. Thanks for taking the time to stop in and shop!

You'll notice that our store doesn't stay the same for long. Things are always changing and there is no guarantee it will look the same the next time you come for a visit. We try to keep things fresh and fun.

Here is a cute story of faith from the "Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul"

The fields were parched and brown from lack of rain, and the crops lay wilting from thirst. People were anxious and irritable as they searched the sky for any relief. Days turned into arid weeks. No rain came. The ministers of the local churches called for a prayer meeting on the town square the following Saturday. They requested everyone possible to come join in. At high noon the appointed Saturday the townspeople turned out en masse, filling the square with anxious faces and hopeful hearts. The ministers were touched to see them all there. As the prayer time came to an end, as if on magical command, a soft rain began to fall. Cheers swept the crowd as they raised ther hands high in gratitude and praise. But from the middle of the crowd one thing seemed to overshadow all else: A small nine-year-old child who had brought their umbrella.

Christmas in July has been a lot of fun. We can't wait to share it with you. The Really Woolly Plush are an adorable addition to any Christmas Celebration. They are not just for the kids any more. We also have the Really Woolly Christmas Movie "The Gift of Christmas" available in the store. A 40 minute movie that teaches that having the newest toy is not the most important part of the Christmas season. The movie retails for $12.99 but the Outlet Store's price is $5.
